So I took my 2018 Wrangler out for a little desert drive last weekend and noticed that when I tried shifting into 4Low, nothing happened – the light just blinked and then went back to 2Hi. It works fine in 4Hi but something feels off, like there’s a delay and a slight grinding if I try to shift while rolling. I’m worried the transfer case might be on its way out, or maybe just a sensor or shift cable issue. I live in Musaffah and really need to find a shop that knows these NV241 cases inside out, not just some guy who will tell me to replace the whole unit for thousands. Stumbled upon a page that mentioned Jeep Transfer Case Repair Musaffah and I’m wondering if anyone here has had a similar problem – was it the shift motor, the encoder, or something internal? Would love to hear about a trustworthy garage that actually rebuilds instead of just swapping. Don’t want to get stranded in the sand next time. Appreciate any help.
